This winery is embedded into the ground and is aligned with the natural axes of the Niagara Region topography. A large atrium that incises the building into two halves serves as an herb garden for the winery’s own kitchen, and brings visitors from the entry trellis to the valley at the rear. Guests can can observe the spectacle of beekeeping while enjoying wine and cuisine in a quiet environment surrounded by trees, flowers, and grapevines.

The experiential winery has an intensive program including an administrative section including offices, dormitory, kitchen, and cafeteria; production facilities including the atrium greenhouse, honey processing, crush pads, fermentation tanks, cellars, tasting laboratories, bottling lines and machine shops; and guest services including tasting rooms, retail shop, and specialty dining areas.
